A feature of the TRYST Introduction process is the personal interview. Every individual taking out membership of TRYST is interviewed in depth by means of a face to face conversation. The purpose of this is to identify each individual's potential for compatibility. We have a system of identifying various factors of personality and attitude and aim to match couples displaying strong similarities. My reading on this subject has taken in the excellent book by Glenn D. Wilson and Jon Cousins entitled CQ Learn the secret of lasting love, a worth while read with a question and answer element to test you. At TYRST we think too much is left to chance in the matter of choosing a life long partner. While we do not seek to remove the amorous attractions we do want people to enjoy a certain amount of level handedness for such a personal investment as choosing a partner for life. Like the Wilson/Cousins studies and writings we search for psychological indicators, though we do not go quite as far as the authors who have devised a clever Compatibility Quotient Test.
